Plumbing Repairs in London
Most "plumbing emergencies" are actually handyman plumbing jobs — a worn washer, a loose olive fitting, a sticky fill-valve. Getting a Gas Safe engineer out at £100 call-out for something that takes me 20 minutes is money wasted.
What's included
- ✓Dripping taps, replacement mixer taps, isolation valves
- ✓Leaks under sinks, behind toilets, on radiator valves
- ✓Toilet fill-valves, flush mechanisms, wax seals
- ✓Radiator removal for decorating, re-hanging, bleeding
- ✓Waste pipe clearing, sink trap replacement, shower waste
How I work
I handle everything that isn't gas or boiler internals: taps, toilets, radiators (removal/re-hanging, not boiler work), shower mixers, waste pipes, isolation valves, push-fit and compression fittings. If the job turns out to need a Gas Safe engineer, I'll tell you up front — no surprises. Water off, job done, left dry.
Frequently asked
Can you fix a leaking tap?
Usually yes — most leaking taps need a new ceramic cartridge or rubber washer. If the tap body is corroded I'll recommend replacement and fit a new one the same day.
Do you work on boilers?
No — boiler internals are Gas Safe only. I do everything around the boiler: radiators, pipework, valves, flushing. If you need a boiler engineer I can recommend one.
What about emergency leaks?
Call me — if I'm local and free I'll come the same day. Meanwhile, turn the water off at the mains stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink).
